Thank you to everyone who came and enjoyed our Friday Fete, held on 29th June.

We all had a fabulous time, helped very much by the beautiful weather too.  The raffle draw was held on Friday afternoon and the lucky winners have now been notified.  The funds from the day, including the raffle, will be split between our three services.  Thank you very much for all your support!

Part-time – 20 hours over 5 days per week

Salary - £9 per hour

An experienced and highly organised Receptionist/Administrator with excellent Microsoft Office, IT, verbal and written communication skills is required to work in the Scotts

Office to support the charity.

The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter with a flexible and practical approach who enjoys working in a small team environment. This is a busy and varied role which is also the first point of contact on the telephone and for face to face visitors.

A minimum of 3 years office reception/administration experience in a professional environment is essential, together with a minimum of GCSE Grade C in Maths and English.

This position will initially be for 6 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

THE TIMES / STERNBERG ACTIVE LIFE AWARD FOR OUR FOUNDER, JILL SCOTT MBE

Jill has been awarded runner-up, for the prestigious 'The Times/Sternberg Active Life Award'.

Yesterday, Jill attended 11 Downing Street to receive the award, presented to her by Baroness Ros Altmann, former Minster of State for Department of Work and Pensions.

The Times/Sternberg Active Life award, set up in 2008 by Sir Sigmund Sternberg, recognises the dedication of those over the age of 70 in their work for good causes and their outstanding contributions to society.

Congratulations Jill - you absolutely deserve it!! You are an inspiration to us all.

The fabulous Fidelity team have joined us today, to clear the Development Centre garden and paint our new shed!

They are cracking on with the work this morning, and we are extremely grateful 1f60a

Once cleared, the garden will be a lovely outdoor space for us to use.
