July 2019

Some of the Development Centre art students have been working on a land art project and studying the land artist, Andy Goldsworthy.

At the beginning of July they visited Hastings beach and had some fun with stone stacking.

On Monday, 15th July a second group of students from the Development Centre went on the Kingfisher Boat Trip from Wateringbury Marina.

They all had a fantastic time and fed the swans, helped to operate the lock and had a go at steering the boat (which they got certificates for!).

The weather was perfect and it was very peaceful afternoon.

Once again, thank you to Tonbridge Rotary Club for providing these trips.

SPR has purchased two beautiful sets of great quality garden furniture.

We have been able to do this thanks to a very generous donation of £1,500 from an anonymous donor.

This furniture replaces the old wooden folding chairs which were getting a bit rickety.

The new furniture compliments the beautiful solid oak bench and pair of chairs that were donated to Jill Scott.

We are now all set to enjoy the rest of the summer.

Thank you!
