CARE SUPPORT WORKERS

Scotts is a small charity providing homely accommodation and support for adults with learning disabilities in Tonbridge.  We pride ourselves in the way we value and support our staff team, believing that a happy staff team is the foundation of great person-centred care.  Our staff retention and approval rating is exemplary.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions

Full-time Permanent Care Support Worker for our Independent Living Service and Part/Full-time staff at our Supported Living Service

Based on 37.5 hours per week, shift based (including sleep-in duties), with an annual salary of £16850 - £18050, depending on qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate will be empathetic and enthusiastic about supporting other people, have a flexible approach and be able to work a shift pattern that includes weekends.  You will be someone who wants to make a difference and ideally have previous experience in supporting and caring for adults with learning disabilities, or be willing to learn. 

A qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable (or you should be prepared to complete the Care Certificate).  Candidates should have a full, valid, clean driving license. 

All statutory training will be provided, along with opportunities to acquire more advanced qualifications.

Are you committed, compassionate and patient, with a passion for providing high quality care?  If so, then we would like to hear from you.  

The successful candidates will have a flexible and practical approach and ideally have previous experience in supporting and caring for adults with learning disabilities.   A qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable (or you should be prepared to complete the Care Certificate). 

All statutory training will be provided, along with opportunities to acquire more advanced qualifications.

The hourly pay rate is £8.37 plus £1.01 holiday pay
